Holy Spirit empowerment

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

We need the Holy Spirit empowerment to accomplish all that God has for us.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.  Acts 10:38

Walk in “God confidence” – Daily Inspirational Quotes

Confidence in God“God Confidence”

Be inspired to walk in “God confidence” today. I know you have your self- confidence, but I want to encourage you to walk in “God confidence”. God is your most reliable, unseen partner, who is with you everywhere you go.

Wouldn’t you rather have God on your team everyday? Your faithful partner forever. His friendship is the only relationship that will truly last forever. He cannot go against His word and He cannot suddenly change His mind about his promises concerning you. That’s a partner for life for me.

Heb 10:35 says Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. Don’t throw away your confidence in God because you discovered that man is not trustworthy.

Mediate on Psalms 89:28-37 God has committed Himself to keep His covenant with David forever. He promises to establish David’s line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure, even if David’s sons violate his commands, and forsake his law. That’s amazing! He is not willing to betray his faithfulness toward you.

Take your God confidence with you all day long and enjoy an amazing day.

Psalm 89:28-37

New International Version (NIV)

28 I will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.
29 I will establish his line forever,
his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30 “If his sons forsake my law
and do not follow my statutes,
31 if they violate my decrees
and fail to keep my commands,
32 I will punish their sin with the rod,
their iniquity with flogging;
33 but I will not take my love from him,
nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
34 I will not violate my covenant
or alter what my lips have uttered.
35 Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness—
and I will not lie to David—
36 that his line will continue forever
and his throne endure before me like the sun;
37 it will be established forever like the moon,
the faithful witness in the sky.”

Power up your day with Jesus!

Power up with JesusJoshua 1:9

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

God told Joshua to be strong and courageous, not to be afraid and do not be discourage. This was not a suggestion this was a command. Many things as we know step into our path as obstacles, problems and horrifying situations but we are still commanded to be strong, courageous, and not the be afraid. The greatest part of this command is that the Lord our God is with us wherever we go.

What can you not do with God on your side. Power up your day, step out in confidence, knowing that you are more than a conqueror with Jesus on your side.

So finally be strong in the Lord and put on the FULL armor of God. With God on your side you can do and accomplish all things.

Be blessed.

Power up you day with God’s peace!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Anxious thoughts will try to crowd your mind, fighting relentlessly for a place to rest, but will soon over take you with worry, frustration, anger, fear, uneasiness, and the list goes on. Really what it’s fighting for is your peace. Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Peace does not depend on favorable situations, peace comes from keeping your mind stayed on God and his word. Isa 26:3-4 says: You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.

Mediate on the word of God day and night. This does not mean, that you do nothing but keep your eyes in the word; however, it does mean that you rehearse the word of God and give it precedence in your mind above all other disturbing thoughts. Mediating on God’s word is a power thing because it produces the peace that you need to carry on a productive life. According to Psalm 27:5, “For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.”

Jesus spoke peace in the midst of the storm. He has given the same authority to you. It’s time to use your authority and stop allowing the wind and waves of life to toss you around like a helpless boat. God will keep his children safe but you must believe that he has not left you out there to fight alone. Although the afflictions of the righteous are many, the promise of the Lord is sure, he will deliver us out of them all. You have got to believe the word of God above everything and your peace will be great.

Being steadfast

Being steadfast

James 1:12-18
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Hebrews 10:36
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.

James 1:2-4
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

The times are proving true to the fact that we need Steadfastness to be a virtue in our everyday lives. That after we have endured the tests and trials we are still standing, having done all we can humanly do we are still standing. The most important thing is not so much how you feel but what you know to be true and that is you draw strength from the Lord- He your ever present help in times of trouble.

The feelings of weariness and faint comes because we relinquish our post of prayer and allow the cares of this life to crowd our minds. The enemy knows that when we are disconnected from our true vine we begin to loose strength, he knows if we are loosing joy we loose strength to keep standing and to fight, but this day the Lord has already provided all that we need to triumph and overcome every temptation, trials and situations that we face. God has already planned your victory, don’t plan to your defeat.

The steadfastness that you need to endure even under tremendous pressure comes as you stay rooted and built up in the word of God and prayer. You have 24 hour access to God, therefore take full advantage of it. The enemy of our souls knows how to buffet us, but we also know how to get rid of him by speaking the word of God. I therefore encourage us all today to be steadfast in the Lord, do not quit under pressure, sickness or under any circumstance. Quitting is never an option where God is concern, he has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. He has already provided a way of escape. May you be strengthen with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy (Col 1:11).

Walk in the perfect love of God toward Him and toward your fellow man. If there is ever a time to stand strong its now. If there is ever a time to believe God its now, this is not the time to doubt, fear or act cowardly. You are blessed when you remain steadfast. You will be rewarded when you remain steadfast; the crown is for those who endure to the end. Having done all stand steadfast.
